Belmont Village Senior Living, with its structure now erected at 107 Bella Montagna Circle in Lakeway, joins four other senior living facilities existing in Lakeway, not including the Tuscan Village age-restricted housing. Belmont Village will be open for residents sometime in the summer of 2018, after construction is completed on the exterior, the roof and the interior of the building, Belmont Village representatives said.
“One of the things we really like about Lakeway is that retirees have felt they wanted to be able to stay there,” Belmont Village Chief Investment Officer Margaret Scott said. “They want to stay close to their families and community … in dealing with the city of Lakeway, they have a very thoughtful and measured approach to land use.”
The Houston-based Belmont Village Senior Living company celebrated the “topping out” of its 28th community at Lakeway location in early September, company representatives stated in an October press release. The “topping out” refers to the completion of the structure of the building, which is three and a half tiered floors. This is Belmont Village Senior Living’s second community in the Austin area, the first one being located at 4310 Bee Cave Road in West Lake Hills, which opened in summer of 2014.
The new facility is approximately 130,000 square feet with 158 private apartments for residents seeking any type of accommodation from from independent living, assisted living or memory care. The facility also has several common areas, and amenities include a fitness center and wellness and therapy classes, a full-service salon, chef-prepared meals, housekeeping, transportation services, social events on site, a library, a swimming pool and a movie theater. Nurses are on site 24 hours a day, representatives said.
“There’s a lot of space for residents to use outside of their apartment,” Belmont Village spokeswoman Amy Self said. “Our goal is to have everyone spend time engaged and have a lot of social space.”
Belmont Village will open an informational office on Nov. 1 at 900 RM 620, Suite A100, where anyone interested in becoming a resident can learn more or reserve space.
