“My husband Alvin was the greatest love of my life. We met while he was a student at Cornell University. We enjoyed traveling together and living in both Washington D.C. and Los Angeles. Our home was a welcoming gathering spot for friends, family and business associates. And, when my husband lost his sight, I became his eyes by taking care of his business duties. We were a true partnership for the 70 years.”

Ruth, a resident of Belmont Village Westwood, became actively involved in Hadassah and in the temple and other charitable organizations. She served for several years as president of her Hadassah group.
