Belmont Village Turtle Creek’s Lisa Mach Receives TALA Hero Award for Second Year in a Row.
At Belmont Village, our employees are the heart of our 25 communities—ensuring residents not only have access to high levels of care but that they also have fun. It’s this dedication by staff members like Lisa Mach that helps create a truly unique experience at Belmont Village.
As Director of Sales and Marketing, Mach has been with Belmont Village Turtle Creek since before it opened in 2013. In her role, Mach is often one of the first faces new residents and their families get to know at Turtle Creek—helping residents make a smooth transition into the Turtle Creek community.
“Lisa is the heartbeat of the community,” said Nancy Sanders, executive director for Belmont Village Turtle Creek. “Her charisma and earnest approach to providing care for our residents has distinguished her time and time again. Every family she works with raves about her kind-hearted nature and aptitude, as she frequently lends an ear to those coping with a significant change in their lives.”
Mach brings a wealth of knowledge to Belmont Village Turtle Creek, seamlessly addressing any potential issues that may arise while providing the best in care to residents. She attributes her success to the support she receives from her team—a group of individuals with servant hearts.
“The truth is I could not do my job without the entire team. You can have a beautiful building with all the amenities, but at the end of the day it comes down to the people you work with,” Mach said. “I am lucky to have such a wonderful team that is truly dedicated to serving the needs of the residents.”
It’s this level of trust and her commitment to the industry that has led to Mach being honored for a second year in a row by the Texas Assisted Living Association (TALA). At the recent 2017 awards ceremony, Mach was selected out of hundreds of nominees from across Texas to receive the TALA Hero Award for sales and marketing. The award recognizes a staff member who exemplifies the best in assisted living for their outstanding work and remarkable standards of service.
According to Mach, one of the aspects that she appreciates most about working at Belmont Village is the company’s progressive approach to geriatric care, particularly in partnering with some of the nation’s top researchers. This provides a conduit of information to residents and their families, educating them on the latest insights and research. Above all, however, Mach says her favorite part of the job is to observe newly settled residents blossoming in their new surroundings and living their lives to their fullest potential.
