As I begin the 3rd and final week of my respite and transitional care at Belmont Village in Memphis I would like to take a few moments to ponder the many wonderful things that have taken place. While at Belmont, I found myself in a warm, hospitable, save, bright, and even fun environment. This environment has, without a doubt, speeded my recovery and has left me with many fond memories.

I have a mother at your Memphis community. I want to acknowledge the entire staff in Memphis. While my mom has dementia, she knows that she is safe and well taken care. The folks on staff show such care and love for her, it makes it easier during such difficult times. The Executive Director’s leadership filters down to every employee as they put the residents well being their first priority. I want to recognize Mary, who takes such an interest in mom in the COF. Mary is amazing and my brothers and I feel she keeps my mom in a state of feeling loved and comfortable in an environment that she just doesn’t understand. Jen has also been so helpful in providing FaceTime opportunities. I also want to recognize every PAL on the 3rd floor that takes such loving care of my Mom.

My brother and I researched every facility in the Memphis market and we are glad we landed at Belmont.
