Houston-based Belmont Village Senior Living celebrated the launch of its 28th community this month in Greater Austin. Belmont Village Lakeway, located at 107 Bella Montagna Circle in Lakeway, Texas, is opening its doors with 151 private apartments for Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. It is the company’s second community to open in the Greater Austin area in the past four years. Belmont Village West Lake Hills, which provides Assisted Living and Memory Care, opened in 2014.
“We’re excited to be expanding our footprint in Austin. The growth in demand for seniors housing here has been tremendous in recent years – Austin now has the second fastest growing senior population in the US,” said Patricia Will, Belmont Village Founder and CEO. “We’re very pleased to be able to provide another much-needed, top-quality option for area residents.”
Designed by Architects Huitt-Zollars and built by White Construction Company, Belmont Village Lakeway is a rustic, Mediterranean-style building of approximately 130,000 square-feet, offering studio, one- and two-bedroom floor plans. Amenities include a professionally managed fitness center, heated saltwater pool, full service salon, screening room, chef-prepared dining, housekeeping and transportation services and exterior courtyards with outdoor dining patios and gardens.
In addition to expansive common areas and high-end hospitality services, Belmont Village communities provide a Whole Brain Fitness lifestyle, with a range of enrichment programs to help maintain physical and mental acuity at all levels. Residents with early to moderate memory loss benefit from Belmont Village’s award-winning Circle of Friends® program designed to help maintain brain health and function for longer. Belmont Village also provides memory care for residents with later stage loss through its dedicated, Person-Centered Living® program, which includes a full daily calendar of ability-based activities. A licensed nurse is on-site 24/7.
Each Belmont Village community is built to purpose and licensed to provide the highest level of care throughout the building, creating a blended model that offers flexibility for residents if needs change, and allows couples with varying health or cognitive needs to stay together.
“We design our programs in much the same way that we design our buildings,” said Will. “We integrate the latest research available, and we translate that into fun, engaging programs that actually support our residents’ own goals of living full, purposeful lives at every stage. Our job is to provide the right care and support to help our residents enjoy their full potential.”
Belmont Village, founded in 1997, is an integrated developer, owner and operator of high end seniors housing. Since its inception, the company has developed and still operates 28 senior living communities in seven states and Mexico City.
