The event is part of the Alzheimer’s Association’s Major League Memories program where retired baseball players visit senior living communities to help lead a memory enrichment program that consists of a variety of baseball-themed activities including reviewing baseball memorabilia and famous radio clips along with fun trivia questions to help trigger the senior’s memories.
The Belmont Village communities of Encino and Hollywood Hills participated in the program with the Alzheimer’s Association in late July.
