Dorothy Mae Cook and Bebe have been inseparable for almost seven years. She and Bebe enjoy being out and about in the community. Seeing everyone greet Bebe brings a smith to Dorothy Mae’s face. People greet Bebe before they say hello to Dorothy. “Bebe doesn’t know any tricks. I never believed in teaching a dog tricks,” Dorothy explained. And it turns out that Bebe doesn’t need tricks. Bebe is so popular with the residents that she and Dorothy Mae landed the starring roles as Toto and Dorothy in the community’s 2012 production of The Wizard of Oz.
