“I’m a tried-and-true Cubs fan. My late husband was scouted by the Cubs as a pitcher in 1934 but was injured so it didn’t work out. If it had, we may not have waited 108 years for a World Series win! The Cubs weren’t my only passion though. My family means everything to me.

I made sure to teach my daughters to be kind and helpful to those less fortunate. It’s something I believe has gotten me to where I am today, along with my faith in God.”
